How do you get grill grease spots off of siding?

Apparently, the container containing the grease from our grill blew onto our house leaving little grease spots. Any way that I could get those out or are they on there for good?

Answer:
No indication as to what kind of siding you have, but so it is hard to tell. Degreaser from the auto store or Goof-Off may damage vinyl siding. These products will tend to further stain a porous siding (such as stucco or stained wood).

For vinyl siding, Simple Green often works well. If the grease penetrated the surface of the siding, most manufacturers would recommend SoftScrub or similar. I suspect that a Mr. Clean magic eraser may work as well, but I have not had occasion to test since they came out.
