Will adding siding to a wood house increase the value?
Also, will it protect the wood from natural elements and termites? Any good websites that sell siding so I can get an idea of the options out there?

not as much as the salesman will try to convince you it will
you should expect that you save money on the periodic repainting that wood requires and won't get a nickel more when you sell the house. while this is a pessimistic view, it is a lot safer than the pie in the sky those salesmen try to sell.
