How do you stop a porcupine from eating the siding and wood off of your house?
Our cabin is in the middle of the woods and is usually just used on weekends. It has eaten two feet up the sides and the damage is bad. Some places it has almost bitten through.
How can I stop this critter before he gets in the cabin.
Answer: Try shooting it in the face.
Actually, I did find an article about controlling porcupines here: http://www.bugspray.com/articles99/porcupines.html
It recommends using a product called "Ropel" to keep them away.
